Explore Your Inner-World
Through the Subtle Art of Tarot

In many spiritual traditions, complex metaphysical philosophies and even quantum physics, there is the notion that there are 3 planes or spheres that categorize existence, all of which house different levels of information and require different forms of "technology" to understand.

In Vedanta, Buddhism, Hinduism, Sufism, Gnostic Christianity and Kabbalah these spheres are often referred to as the gross/physical, subtle/astral and mental spheres. Each sphere, or plane, has a function and interacts and overlaps with one another and helps to create the totality of existence. The mental world transverses and influences the subtle world which transverses and influences the physical world, kind of like a nesting doll. Each plane houses its own set of rules and guidelines, much like the laws of gravity we recognize in the physical world.

In most of the aforementioned traditions there is the belief that the only Reality or Truth that one can achieve comes when the consciousness has transcended all three spheres and perceives the Divine which is independent of these spheres yet manifests them simultaneously.

Expand Your Understanding Of Tarot

Explore the Major Arcana, Minor Arcana and the Court Cards!

Exploring the Major Arcana

When one or more major arcana cards show up in your reading, these can reveal major life-lessons, your subconscious tendencies or stage of initiations you are going through at that time.

The progression of the Major Arcana is sometimes called "The Fool's Journey", because it shows the developmental stages of 0-21 [0/Fool card-thru to the-21/World card].

So, we often look to these cards to more fully understand where you are on your life's path.

Exploring the Minor Arcana

The Minor Arcana are the 56 suit cards within the 78-card deck of tarot cards. The Minor Arcana comprises of four suits, with 14 cards each.

Although there are variations among individual deck creators, the Minor Arcana commonly employ the suits of Wands, Cups, Swords, and Pentacles.

Suit Card Elements ·
Wands/fire = passionate, bold, and adventurous · Cups/water = emotional, reflective, and heart-centered · Swords/air = logical, intelligent, and communicative. Pentacles(coins)/earth = grounded, practical, career or materially driven.

In a Tarot reading, Minor Arcana cards will show you what's happening in your daily life in relation to love and relationships, family, career, money, health, spirituality, and how it is affecting you.

Exploring the Court Cards

Court Cards are the sixteen “face” cards of the tarot--the King, Queen, Knight, and Page.

Court Cards Are Personality Types. When you get court cards in a reading, don’t see them as people but as personality types. The court cards represent 16 personality types that are grouped by Element and Rank.

The ranks themselves have their own elemental correspondences:
Kings = Yang. experienced/mature-air/mind/assertiveness.
Queens = Yin. experienced/mature- water/emotion/receptive.
Knights = Yang. inexperienced/immature- fire/mind/assertive.
Pages = Yin. inexperienced/immature- earth/emotion/receptive.
